Payscale (the smart folks behind this finding) defines Gen Y workers as people with birth years 1982 – 1993. That makes me personally, a very clear Gen Y-er. Turns out it’s a good thing I live in Seattle!
This report finds that Seattle is the best place in the nation for workers ages 18 – 29. It also found that Gen Y-ers prefer smaller firms with more flexibility and the opportunity to be entrepreneurial. We also want to meet people our own age, max out our pay and avoid time-wasting commutes.
Do you agree? Do you think Seattle is the best place to live?
