Team Works is a fantastic way to meet new people, give back and have fun.

But don’t just take my word for how amazing Team Works is. Here’s the confirmation from a beloved Team Works team, blogging about their awesome experience:

Mr. Miyagi’s Juju volunteered at Washington Talking Book & Braille Library on Sat 9/15. The library provides a free public library service which includes easy access to the informational and recreational reading materials needed by individuals in the State of Washington who are unable to read standard print material.

In WTBBL’s Shipping department, the volunteers added mailing address tags to cassette tapes, rewinded tapes, and packed boxes.

“Equipped with tape guns, cassette rewinders and rolling hampers, we filled 10 hampers with cassette tapes for a total of 4250 talking books and packed 100 cassette players for repair. No known injuries. It was a good day.”

More exciting experiences can be read on Mr. Miyagi’s Juju’s great blog.

So don’t miss out. There’s still time to join now! The Kick-Off party is Wed 10/10, and the first project is Sat 10/13!

Signing up for Team Works will be one of the best things you’ll do for yourself and your community. And if you’re lucky, maybe your picture will graze your team’s blog!
