SWANK! Now That’s What We Call a Successful Night! October 17, 2012

Filed under: Swank — seattleworks @ 5:32 pm

SWANK was last Saturday and well… we are still recovering!

What a great night it was.  We had surprise performances from two aerialists thanks to the wonderful people at SANCA! Jello shots – gourmet style handcrafted by Sergey Smirnov of Labcoat Cocktails. Shotskis (branded with Seattle Works’ logo) compliments of  Hot tub boats, a 60″ television, spa packages, vacations to DC, NYC, Hawaii, Chelan, Long Beach and Suncadia. A seven day cruise, 50 shades of Swank package, a music lover’s package with a backstage KEXP tour and more!

It was an awesome night that raised $150,000 for Seattle Works. Out of an annual budget of about $450,000 – that. is. huge.  This funding will fuel our organization through the new year and thanks to fundapalooza, ensure we keep kicking butt during the second year of our Innovation Hub Initiative. We see the gap between people who want to give back and amazing local organizations who are looking for resources – and we know what it takes to bring those groups together! We’re harnessing the time, skills, voices and money of the next generation and putting it to work!

Photobooth photos are the best!

Swank You to all sponsors, attendees, donors, committee members, volunteers, table captains, board members and vendors.  We could not have done this without you and we appreciate your help!
